subversive seamster - more extensive monkey care (and maybe an outfit or two)

i mentioned the book sew subversive once before and i just wanted to revisit that for a moment. the girls who wrote that wonderful book have put ot another book, subversive seamster: transform thrift store threads into street couture. (while the ideas here are more than the basic you will need for simple monkey mending you will probably like the ideas. none of them were exactly me BUT after reading the book i was really thinking out side the box and feeling truly creative!) check it out and you might wind up with the chic-est monkeys in town.

Thanks for the shout out! While the specific fashions in Subversive Seamster may not be for everyone, we wrote the book for exactly the reason you mentioned -- to get people thinking about their options with thrift store finds and how to recycle them into fun, new items! The projects are low risk, low cost, and high potential for fun! Thanks for helping get the word out!
